Sexual Health

The practice provides a range of sexual health services to our patients. Both our doctors and practice nurses provide contraception and sexual health care. We are also involved with or direct patients to additional schemes and resources to help with sexual health care.

C-Card Scheme

If you are under 25 you can get free condoms from various places in Bath and North East Somerset by using a C Card, including from Rush Hill & Weston Surgery.

A C Card is simply a plastic key fob that you can attach to your keys after you have had a discussion with your School Nurse, College Nurse, Youth Worker or a range of other trained professionals about the use of condoms. This C Card key fob can be exchanged for FREE condoms from over 70+ venues in BANES.

Sometimes it might seem too hard or too scary to see a school nurse, youth worker or other professional to get your C Card. If this is the case you can complete the C Card Online Assessment. If you answer all the questions correctly, you will be awarded a certificate which you then need to print off to exchange it at a number of venues for a C Card key fob and free condoms.
