Guide to our Appointments System

Who do I see?

For information on how best to be seen at the Surgery, select the service or condition you require.

There are about 9000 patients registered at Rush Hill and Weston Surgery.  We have 6  GP’s, who dont work at the practice every day.

With such large numbers there can, at times, be some degree of pressure on our appointments. We endeavour to provide an efficient service.  We are continuously reviewing the appointment system and hope to make it as easy to use as possible with the current demand.

Sometimes it can be difficult to get an appointment with a clinician exactly when you want to.   Please be kind to our reception team whilst they try to find an appropriate appointment for you.

Please be aware that when telephoning the surgery to make an appointment the reception staff will ask patients to outline the problem in order that you can be booked with the most appropriate clinician. If you do not wish to provide this information, we may ask that a clinician calls you back.

We are offering patients a choice of telephone or face to face appointments where available.

Many requests can be dealt with over the phone or by video consultation, where clinically appropriate, saving the patient time with not having to travel to the practice or sit in a waiting room with others.

on the day phone appointments will be either an AM or PM appointment
