Dr Tina Cottee MB, ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG I have been a partner with the Practice since 1990, having trained in Edinburgh (MBChB) & Huntingdon (MRCGP). I am lucky that I enjoy all aspects of General Practice, but have a particular interest in medicine, musculoskeletal problems and psychology. I am also keen on preventing illness by encouraging healthy lifestyles and by helping people learn about how best to self-manage chronic illnesses. I am responsible for training doctors and often will have a registrar or F2 doctor working alongside me.
Dr Joerg Oertel SEM (Germ.), MRCP, MRCGP, DRCOG After completing medical school in Berlin, Germany, I came to the UK in 1994. After years of hospital work in medicine and oncology I changed to General Practice and joined the Rush Hill & Weston Surgery in 2004. I have been a partner since March 2006 and I am enthusiastic about most aspects of primary care. My special interests are chest medicine and oncology. I have joined Dr Cottee as a GP trainer in 2008.
Dr Andy Fountain I’ve lived and worked as a Doctor in Bath for 12 years. My hobbies include hill-walking, gardening and any sport that isn't life threatening or too expensive! I am enthusiastic about working in General Practice and particularly enjoy Paediatrics, ENT and General Medicine. I am looking forward to working with such a great team.
Dr Valerie Hartley-Brewer FRCGP, DRCOG I started working at Rush Hill and Weston Surgeries in 1982 as an assistant to my predecessor, taking over as sole GP in 1987. There were far fewer patients then and a very personal service was possible. Although the list size has expanded greatly, I hope we all continue to offer our patients an equally satisfactory service. I have been here so long that I am now seeing patients have babies when I have known them since they were babies themselves! It has been great fun seeing people grow up and change over a long period. Certainly the job is still most enjoyable and rewarding.
Dr Priscilla Norgren BA, MB BS, MRCGP, DFFP Dr Norgren is currently working 4 sessions at both surgeries. Her areas of special interest are family planning and women's health.
Dr Susanna Cary Dr Cary is our current GP registrar at Rush Hill. She is an experienced hospital physician who is now training to be a GP. Susie will be with us part-time for the next 2 years.	.
Dr Charlotte Astin Dr Astin is our GP registrar at Weston. She has completed her hospital training and will be with us part-time for 2 years.
