Home visits

If you are housebound or have a severe illness that makes you too unwell to come to the surgery, you can ask for a home visit.

The doctors will phone you back before they come to make sure they are the best person to see you. Sometimes other health professionals like district nurses may be more appropriate. Please note that we are usually able to examine patients better and can do more tests in the practice.

Please try to make it to the surgery if you can.

Out of Hours arrangements

If you need to see a Doctor in an emergency when the surgery is closed, then please call:

Bath Emergency Medical Services on 01980 626226.

The NHS Walk-in Centre is open from 7.15am - 10.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am - 6.00pm for minor injuries and problems. It is situated in the centre of Bath at the Riverside Health Centre in James Street West.

NHS Direct provides help 24 hours every day: 0845 46 47
