Rush Hill & Weston Surgery

Weston and Rush Hill Surgeries are long-established and serve two large areas of Bath. The Health team consists of five doctors, nurses, health visitors and district nurses. We provide high quality medical services with particular emphasis on preventive medicine. It is also possible to access counselling, podiatry, midwifery, psychology, a diet club, drug advisory and physiotherapy services.

The Rush Hill Surgery is a recently completed purpose-built Surgery at 20 Rush Hill, Bath.

The Weston Surgery is located in an elegant Victorian town house near the Royal United Hospital at 36 Combe Park, Bath.

Both surgeries provide parking and disabled access.

New:

Dr Cottee had a hip operation on the 23/02/09 and will be off until the second half of April. We have arranged excellent cover for her sick-leave:
 

• Dr Fraser Head will be with us for 3-4 sessions per week. Fraser is an experienced GP with a special interest in emotional problems and mental health
• Dr Andrew Fountain will be increasing to full-time and will continue to do four days a week when Dr Cottee returns
• Dr Melanie Jessop is coming back to help out on Wednesdays
• Dr Valerie Hartley-Brewer will be increasing her sessions to fill the gaps (pre-planned holidays permitting – semi-retirement is a wonderful thing!)

This allows you to request your repeat medication online rather than contacting the surgery. Please ask our receptionists for a username and password for this service.

opening hours:

We are now offering evening appointments Monday to Wednesday until 7.30 pm. These appointments should make it easier for people who find it difficult to book an appointment during the normal surgery hours.

These appointments are only pre-bookable via the receptionist or online.

Any acute emergency will still need to be seen by the emergency out-of-hours service: 01980 626226
